Jerry began working with computers and data communications in 1983. Jerry joined Network Technologies, Inc. in 1999, originally working for NTI subsidiary, NSI Systems, a systems integrator specializing in Networking, Security and Internet communications, which became part of NTI in 2003.
As Director of Technology Services, Jerry serves as project manager for projects where NTI has been contracted to provide networking, security, and Internet communications services, and as consultant for other project managers which require Jerry's expertise. Jerry remains engaged with clients directly, having worked with many of them for now almost 10 years.
Jerry's technical career started in 1983 with a data communications distributor in North Georgia and Tennessee. Jerry became a regional manager for C/C Networks in 1991. C/C Networks was a systems integrator that installed networking systems for voice and data in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. While with C/C Networks he gained experience configuring and installing local and wide are networks, supervised cable installers during his employment with C/C Networks, and increased his experience with transporting both voice and data using public Telco networks and private networks.
Jerry has worked with over 250 projects while at NTI, managing the implementation of technology systems in hotels, communications systems throughout a multi site regional hospital, Nationwide IP network for Georgia based law firm, Internet VPN communication system using MPLS, IP based video surveillance systems, IP telephony and wireless networking, redundant high speed Packet Over Sonet equipment.
