Allen has been involved in the Audio/Visual/Control industry for over 20 years with experience including Live Sound, Residential Systems, Studio & Broadcast systems, Stadium, Commercial, Educational, Medical, and Corporate Systems Design and implementation. He joined NTI in 2006.
Allen accepted the role of Audio/Visual/Control Division with NTI to expand NTI offerings of Audio/Visual/Control Services, including solutions for the convergence of IT and AVC systems. Under his leadership, NTI has consulted with several manufactures to develop new systems for incorporating Control of AV systems in with the rest of building management systems including HVAC, Lighting, Maintenance, Security, Scheduling, and other critical building systems for Multi-dwelling units, Condominiums, Hotels & Resorts, Corporate, Higher Education and many other building types.
His commercial Audio/Video experience began in 1997 where he started and ran the Commercial AV division for Signal Communications in Tulsa, OK. During his tenure, Allen built the commercial side of their business from 5% to 50%. In 2000, he joined Cape Dixson & Associates (a consulting firm) and co- Managed their Audio/Video & Acoustical division in Atlanta, GA. Most recently, Allen worked for Crestron Electronics as a Regional Manager for the Consultant/MEP and Higher Education Markets.
When Allen joined NTI, his Project Management & Project Engineering experience included clients such as HealthSouth, The Coca-Cola Co., Conoco-Phillips, Lowes, Tulsa Drillers, and J. Walter Thompson. He had worked on various project types including Corporate Headquarters, Research & Development Facilities, Digital Hospitals, Classroom & Educational Technology, Stadium Sound systems, Conference Centers, Video Conference facilities, and more.
