Technology System Design

Our Technology System Design capabilities are among the finest services offered. A comprehensive design and complete set of plans will leave no room for field speculation, confusion or mistakes. We strive to make our plans clear and concise, drawn and issued in AutoCAD and plotted with the most state-of-the-art equipment available.

Autocad Documents 

We use the latest version of AutoCAD to produce all of our drawings. This ensures that the incorporation of information from other consultants and engineers on the project is an efficient, smooth and seamless process. Our AutoCAD drawings include details for all components necessary to install a complete system.

Construction Documents 

Upon completing the design we issue a set of construction documents, including a full set of AutoCAD drawings with complete technical specifications for each system. The Construction Documents are a comprehensive bid package that can be issued along with an RFP to prospective bidders/vendors to obtain competitive pricing on the project.

Coordination With Other Disciplines 

Throughout the design process we coordinate with all pertinent engineers and designers of other disciplines to assure that all factors pertaining to the successful installation and implementation of the technology systems are addressed during the design of the project. Other disciplines we work closely with are the MEP firm (for power and HVAC requirements), the Interior designer (for outlet placement and overall aesthetics) and the Architect (for pathways and spaces).

Technical Specifications 

Incorporated in our drawings are technical specifications for all systems designed. Our specifications include designating manufacturer’s part numbers for all major components, references to all relevant industry standards, installation guidelines, testing and certification requirements and any other special installation instructions needed for each project.
