Bid Management

Network Technologies will help develop, write and issue a complete and comprehensive "Request for Quotation" and oversee the bidding process. Our experience in evaluating and comparing bid documents will eliminate the sometimes confusing burden of sorting out incoming bids and proposals.

Develop Project Specific RFP

NTI develops a comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) for distribution to prospective bidders. In addition to outlining all of the requirements for the technology systems as discovered in the needs assessment phase, the RFP addresses all pertinent factors necessary in successfully selecting the appropriate vendor/partner for each system. Some of these factors include installation timetable, insurance and bonding requirements, warranty issues and post-installation service agreements.

Bid Response Review

Upon receipt of the responses to the RFP, we will evaluate each respondent's package for accuracy and conformance to the RFP requirements. Our evaluation includes analysis of all of the items outlined in the RFP as well as conducting a comparison of each bid response to anticipated quantities of products required for the project. The primary objective during this phase is to secure an "apples to apples" comparison of each response.

Contract Award

Once NTI has reviewed the bid responses and agreed upon the vendor(s) which represent the best overall value for each system, we will award the project to the successful vendor(s) with a client derived contract.

RFP Issue

NTI issues the RFP along with all pertinent construction documents to pre-qualified vendors. The vendors invited to respond to the RFP are all highly qualified for the specific system(s) being procured. In addition to the bidders list we recommend, NTI includes any additional vendors, as requested by the client, in the RFP distribution.
