We have a Yeti cooler winner, after emailing our survey to over 5,000 people. We also posted it to LinkedIn, so while it is not a scientific survey, we found the results interesting. If you were one of those who responded, please know we appreciate your participation.
But first things first…
Congratulations Brandon Lenk from Cooper Carry who was the Yeti cooler winner !!!
The great news for NTI is that nearly 3 out of 10 of respondents said that a technology consultant was needed on 100% of their projects. Of course, we believe a technology consultant is needed on every project, but we recognize that architect’s do not always carry our scope. NTI works as part of the architect’s team for the majority of our projects, and directly for owners, or Owner’s Reps as well. Although less frequently, we also for the MEP, and for the GC on design build projects.
For those who are interested, here are the rest of the survey results.
The top 10 industries represented by those who responded are shown on the pie chart above.
However, the entire list of industries was a bit too long for a pie chart to be an effective way to present the information. This is the full list of industries.
Approximately 27% of respondents said that none of their projects employed a design-bid-build approach.
Approximately 37% had no projects employing design-build.
The following charts show the number of respondents and the percentage of their business by:
Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build
This is the first time that NTI has conducted a survey of our clients and potential future projects. The response and the lessons learned were both interesting and informative, so it may not be the last survey we conduct. So be on the look out for another survey from NTI, perhaps next year.
Thanks again to everyone who participated in the Yeti Giveaway survey.
